    About Us

    Guided Painting Sessions: 25k Gil[*]

    Visiting artists will be provided with a canvas, easel, palette, brushes, paints and a smock. Our instructor, Miden Rouge, will give step-by-step instructions and even personalized tips! Each opening has a special theme featuring one of Etheirys’s stunning locales.Also included: one handcrafted cocktail OR café drink of choice, and one food item from our menu. Additionals may be purchased separately!Socialization is highly encouraged during these sessions - so feel free to chat, sip and paint, paint, paint.[[OOC: Those who participate in our guided painted sessions will receive a Grade 1 Picture Frame housing item, along with the Monthly Theme’s painting! ]]

    Not looking to paint? That’s okay! We have a full bar and café menu available and welcome anyone who wishes to relax and mingle, or even just watch! There are also sketchbooks and colored pencils available for little solo art projects.

    Pet Friendly Business!

    We know that many places (understandably) ask that you keep your companions at home, but we feel that the intended fun and whimsy of Pom Muse makes them a welcome part of the environment we hope to foster! Well-behaved pets are welcome on premises, and can even join in on the guided sessions at no additional charge. The non-toxic, water-based paints that we use are handmade from natural ingredients and are pet safe.

    Need a painting for one of your housing projects? Look no further! Miden has access to ALL 338 paintings available from the Sightseeing Log - from A Realm Reborn through Dawntrail. Yes, even the one from the dreaded Kugane Tower jumping puzzle. Just give him a poke with your request and he'll gladly toss one your way at no charge.

    May 18th 2025 - The Jewel of the Desert

    The commercial hub of Ul'dah is organized strategically around the dome-shaped citadel at it's center. Its towering fortifications and protective outer walls bedighted with myriad glass panes and colorful mosaics are visible for malms in all directions, and serve as a stark yet dazzling deterrent to would-be besiegers.

    Moogle's Paw Mini Game

    Pom Muse’s Moogle’s Paw Machine isn’t just a matter of the illusion of skill with a frustratingly flimsy claw, but luck! Our co-owner, Khaj Hatasashi, tweaked the Manderville Gold Saucer’s signature game with a little bit of his magiteknical know-how, so that every player earns a prize. Each visiting artist can try their luck ONCE PER OPENING with a token for the cost of 10k gil.[*] Simply ask any of our staff to purchase a token and have at it!

    Meet the Staff!

    Rules

    No smoking is permitted while visiting Pom Muse Paintbar! This is for the benefit of your fellow artists, and for the art itself.

    Dress appropriately! Smocks are available at no charge, and the paints provided are water soluable so that they able to be washed out of clothing. However, art can get messy! We also ask that fashion is kept to what might one considered publicly acceptable as a courtesy.

    We are a family friendly business! With the exception of the purchase of alcohol, services are available to all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

    Pom Muse Paintbar is meant to be a calming environment for enriching community and creativity. As such, we ask that our visiting artists be respectful to one another. Disagreements happen! But please, do your best to be polite and not disrupt others’ experience.

    Please leave all weapons behind, or check them with our receptionist. We have safe storage available.

    Pom Muse is a SAFE FOR WORK venue. Please do not ERP or engage in overtly salacious activity during your visit!

    The use of the ‘Melding Materia’ tag and /yell chat will be limited to staff members only. Please also do not spam chat with emote log text or emotes that have disruptive sounds or effects.

    This is meant to be a lighthearted venue, so should you encounter any issues with another visitor of Pom Muse, please speak with a member of staff, denoted by the “Melding Materia” tag, and we will handle the issue promptly! If any offending character or player is unwilling to adhere to the rule of common courtesy, they will be asked to leave, and will be banned from further visits.

    There will also be no tolerance for for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry or harassment of any kind.
